Winter fun.

What a great start to 2023. We have welcomed some new children into our playgroup. The children have been very busy exploring Winter. They have been chipping at ice to find hidden gems and looking at the beautiful patterns. We recycled shredded paper and pretended it was snow. We talked about cold countries and the animals and people that live in them.

The children also celebrated Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit. Mark making numbers in red sand, crafting rabbit head bands and taking part in some sensory play using cooked noodles.
