At Woodchester Playgroup we believe every child is unique, we work closely with parents/carers to create the opportunities for our children to be capable, confident, and happy. We have created a guiding set of principles and aspirations for what we want to achieve at Woodchester Playgroup, and these are defined in our Mission, Vision, and Aims statement below.

Mission
To provide an inclusive child care program which promotes optimal development for each child, supports their families, upholds best practices in the field of Early Years, and provides a community model for quality.

Vision
Our vision is of an outstanding community playgroup which is accessible to every child, whatever their background.  We want to be integral to the community and network support for families. As well as providing a pre-school curriculum to start children on their journey into education we aspire to more. We believe that working partnership between staff and parents is vital to promote the learning and development of all children.

• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

• Provide opportunities for children to explore, be creative and develop their own ideas to help them flourish and grow into confident independent thinkers.

• Work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop;
